Biography:
Dr. Ghasemi is currently conducting environmental and safety research as a health, safety, and environmental advisor at the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). He earned his Bachelor of Science (2010) and Master of Science (2012) degrees in safety and technical inspection engineering from the Abadan Institute of Technology at the Petroleum University of Technology in Iran. Then, he completed his Doctor of Philosophy (2019) degree in environmental engineering at the University of Tehran. Throughout his career, Dr. Ghasemi has conducted research on environmental engineering, water treatment, oil spill response, safety procedures and technologies, and corrosion prevention.
