Biography:
Piovezan, PhD, is professor and researcher at the Post-graduate Program in Health Sciences, University of Southern Santa Catarina (UNISUL), Palhoça, SC, Brazil; Doctoral degree in Pharmacology at Federal University of Santa Catarina (2002); Post-doctoral stage at the William Harvey Research Institute, London/UK (2014-2015) funded by CNPq/Brazil and Marie Curie Research Fellow from European Community Programm. She has published papers on pain and inflammation in important indexed journals.
